Capacitance: Putting a Signal on a BT Cable
BT and comms cables are very hard to trace by induction. The capacitance effect puts a usable signal on them without a metal-to-metal connection.

0:00call it capacitance effect. So, there's no kind of physical metaltometal connection here. We're using the the the transmitter leads uh to make signals jump onto something else. So, on the left is on somebody's sky cable, Sky TV, that puts a signal into the house through the sky box back out on the LV. This one is on a BT cable coming down a pole. And this one's a BT cable into somebody's house. Loads of ways we can use capacitance techniques, guys. For you guys that are using RD8000s, you can do the same thing. You'll just need to ensure that your transmitter is set to 131. On a G4, remember it's kicking out
0:34both at the same time. Bit simpler. This is a BT cable coming out of a property. Very, very hard to trace these guys. You'll certainly not get them without a Genny, but you need to consider how you apply the Genny signal. Just hold it on like that. That's all you have to do. And then some smart ass always says, "What if you're on your own?" So on this one, I've shown I've solitated on bit of water for the earth just to show you can still do it on your own with a bit of effort. And that's me tracing it out. Last little one, guys.
