0:00strong signal which is possibly masking a second cable or pipe running close by. This is called nulling out. The depth button can only be used in conjunction with the Genny. If the Genny is on induction mode, the CAT must be at least 25 m away. If using a direct connection, this can be used within 5 m. With the trigger squeezed and the CAT positioned directly over the pipe or cable, press and release the depth button. The depth displayed is an estimate and should only be used as a guide. To check the depth reading, lift the CAT approximately 300 mm above the surface and check this distance has been added
